Hi, I’m Arielle.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego, CA, offering virtual therapy to women and teens throughout California. I work with people navigating anxiety, relationships, life transitions, trauma, burnout, and the feeling of being disconnected from themselves.
Maybe you’re used to holding everything together. You’re the one who shows up, gets things done, takes care of everyone, and keeps the peace. From the outside, things look okay. Inside, you might feel overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck in your head, or unsure of what you actually need. You may even be wondering why you’re struggling so much when everything looks fine on paper.
I understand how easy it is to lose yourself while trying to keep everything, and everyone, okay. Sometimes we get so used to adapting, overthinking, achieving, and putting others first that we don’t realize how far we’ve drifted from ourselves.
If that’s where you are, you’re not alone. And nothing is wrong with you. These struggles usually make sense when we look at the bigger picture: your relationships, your experiences, the expectations placed on you, and the ways you’ve learned to get through.
That’s where therapy can begin.
I believe therapy should feel human. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start, and I’m not here to tell you who to be or what to choose. I’m here to listen, to understand, and to help you make sense of what you’re going through, without judgment.
Sometimes that means slowing down enough to notice what’s happening in your body. Sometimes it means untangling patterns in your relationships. Sometimes it means processing experiences that still affect you today. And sometimes it simply means having a place where you don’t have to be the strong one.
A little about me
I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I grew up in Baja California, Mexico. That upbringing shaped how much I value culture, language, and relationships, and why I try to understand each person within the context of their own story.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR Level 1 trained. I’ve worked with children, teens, adults, and families in school-based and community mental health settings, and that experience still shapes my work today, with curiosity, warmth, and genuine care for the person on the other side of the screen.
Outside of therapy, the ocean has always been a big part of my life. I’m a lifelong surfer, and the water has taught me a lot about presence, flexibility, and letting go of the idea that we have to control every part of the journey. That perspective naturally finds its way into my work.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. You can come exactly as you are.
You don’t have to perform.
You don’t have to have the perfect words.
You don’t have to know exactly what you need.
You can simply start where you are.
Okay, so… what now?
If you’ve made it this far, maybe you’re curious what working together could feel like. No big commitment, and no perfectly prepared explanation of your life required. Just a chance to say hello and see if we feel like a good fit.
